Summer is here, let's dance the night away!
Dancing in the Street is an annual event hosted by the City of Lakewood that is open to the public.
Live Performances
"Dancing in the Street" is a great way to kick off the summer. This year’s event is a Jazz Night & Car Show. We’ll have a music, dancing, food trucks, roaming entertainment, jugglers and car show awards. Car show awards include:
- Mayors choice award
- Police chief choice award
- Fire chief choice award
Car Show
All makes and models are welcome! The first 30 vehicles will receive a commemorative dash plaque. A total of 23 awards will be presented, including Mayor’s Choice, City Council Choice, Lakewood PD Choice, and more. Awards will be presented at 5:00 PM. Day-of-show registration is $25.
